What is the Puppy Prodigy program?

The Puppy Prodigy program is our best-in-class puppy program - it will give your puppy the ideal start all dog owners dream of. From breeder and puppy selection all the way through advanced training, our process removes the stressful parts and delivers a well-behaved companion and the friendship of a lifetime.

Why choose the Puppy Prodigy program over other training options?

This program is truly comprehensive and immersive! This is not a 4-week PetSmart course. Our Puppy Prodigies undergo an extensive board-and-train program that includes 16 to 20 weeks of training. Puppies start training with our trainers around 10 weeks old and then transition to their forever homes around 6 months of age. They spend their most critical weeks of development with experts who are equipped to lay strong foundations, tackle difficult behaviors, instill confidence, foster good behavior, enforce expectations, and finesse advanced obedience.

How does the Puppy Prodigy program work?

While puppies start their training around 10 weeks of age, the process typically starts earlier. Whether you want advice selecting a breeder, guidance selecting a puppy, or already have a puppy picked out - we'll meet you wherever you are and help ensure you get off to the best possible start.

During your puppy's training program, they will live in home with one (or more) of our trainers. Their days will revolve around training, structure, play, socialization, and environmental exposure. They'll tag along on adventures, interact with a variety of reliable dogs, and learn their place in the home environment and family dynamic. Not only will your dog receive boot camp-level obedience, they'll develop life skills and unshakable confidence that will ward off any behavioral issues that could otherwise arise later in life.

Don't worry - we won't abandon you once training has been completed! Considering your puppy will undergo months of training, we want to ensure you have plenty of training yourself. The most important things when receiving a trained dog are knowing how to continue their training and hold them accountable! Follow through and continued practice are essential to long term success. That is why we take multiple days to hand off puppies at the conclusion of training, typically fitting in 9 go-home lessons. We do multiple sessions in home and wherever you go around town such as restaurants, coffee shops, parks, athletic events, etc. We want all family members to be comfortable with how to communicate properly to your dog in whatever environment you are in!

Their dedicated time and attention is what will form and foster your dream dog!
